Wednesday, September 12 – Curriculum Night – see attached flyer

Kindergarten and Grades 1-6 Session 1 at 5:15 pm

Grades 1-6 Session 2 at 6:00 pm

This Wednesday is the first early release of the school year. As a reminder, the release time is 1:50 P.M. You can learn more about early release Wednesdays, the dates they are on and how the time will be used by staff to support higher levels of student success on the district website HERE. You can find the early release times HERE

Wednesday is also Curriculum Night! This year, two times are offered. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend at either, or both — especially if you have more than one student attending Meridian Park! Sessions are from 5:15 – 5:55 pm (K-6) or from 6:00 – 6:40 pm (grade 1-6 session 2).  Grade 1-6 families choose the session(s) that work best for your family.

Looking for before or after school extracurricular programs? Review and register for the current offerings HERE.

The MP math club is open to all students (grades 3-6) who are interested in math enrichment opportunities.  We explore challenging math concepts independently as well as collaboratively.  We also study for and participate in math contests, including Math Olympiad, Math Counts, and MOEMS.  The overall goal is to improve problem-solving skills, participate in the math competition experience, make friends and have fun.  More info is available at https://mpmathclub.com, or at our parent info night on 9/12. Early registration will be available then, so bring your laptops! The location and time of the meeting are TBD but will be posted on the website once known.

MP math club is completely volunteer run! No specialized math skills are needed, just a desire to help students learn.  Student participation in Math Club may be limited based on the number of parent volunteers we get, so please consider volunteering! If interested, contacting mpmathclub@gmail.com.
