Awards season is upon us! Please submit your nominees HERE for Golden Apple, Golden Acorn and Outstanding Advocate by April 14th. Winners will be recognized with a commemorative pin and a nice dinner at the Shoreline Center with winners from across the school district.
You can still submit Read-a-Thon forms to qualify for prizes! While 3/24 was the end date for eligible reading, the deadline for turning in minute-trackers and pledges has been extended until Wednesday. So, if you still have your form, send it in with your student. Thank you to everyone who supported a reader this year to make the event a success. Read On!
Stop the Bleed is a free, 1.5 hour course that teaches basic life-saving medical interventions. Space is limited to 30 participants. If you are interested, please e-mail April Ingle at stopthebleed.shoreline@gmail.com.
State Testing (SBA) for Grades 3-4-5-6: Please see schedule attached and sent home this week. It helps to limit absences for appointments. Please check the schedule against your family calendar – thanks!

Meridian Park is hosting a Highly Capable Open House on Thursday, April 11th, from 2:00-3:00PM. Join us for a tour, a parent/staff meet & greet, and an opportunity for Q & A. Enter through the Meridian Park main entrance, under the clock. Parents and students are invited, no sign-up required. We hope to see you!
YEARBOOK pre-order forms are due by May 3rd. Pre ordered books are $17 and a limited number will be offered for $20 the last week of school. Cash or check only. From the Office: Spirit Week was a huge success thanks to our amazing Student Council and our amazing Cheetahs. Courage is our character concept for April and it’s a great topic for family discussion. Everyone invited to be involved with PTA this Tuesday at 6:30 and we hope you will mark April 18 for Family Fun Night and MP Birthday Party. Thank you for the gift of your family at our school.
