Join fellow Shoreline families on Friday, January 25, 2019, in Olympia for Gifted Ed Day (GED) festivities.  Learn about the issues that are impacting Hi Cap services across our state, see government at work, meet with legislators, and connect with Hi Cap families from other districts.  This is an excused absence day for Shoreline students who plan to attend.  If you and your student(s) would like to tour the Capitol Building, we have availability in a tour scheduled for 12 noon. This will be on a “first come, first serve” basis.  If interested, please email: shoreline.hicap.advocacy@gmail.com!

We are still looking for Winter Ball (January 31st) volunteers! Please e-mail naomihillyard@gmail.com to express interest or receive more information.

The Spring Auction Needs You! Do you own a business? Have a vacation property? Have connections with local businesses? The MP Spring Auction committee is actively seeking auction items. Please let us know if you have something to donate or would like to help procure items for the Family Fun Night and Auction on April 18. Contact: jacquelinhiggins@gmail.com.

From the Office:   The first week of 2019 at MP was amazing.  Your student(s) worked really hard and it was a super positive and productive week full of learning and laughing. We are working on ‘perseverance’ in January. We are also honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Please consider how your family can do community service on Jan 21 or this month.  There are so many ways to be involved in our PTA, our school, or our community; we welcome your involvement. We appreciate everyone’s patience in our parking lot and on Meridian; slow please, share, and take turns.  We are a great school community because of all of us working together.  See you soon!  One Community • Stronger Together • Celebrating 25 Years of Greatness
