Congratulations to all the student artists who submitted pieces to the Reflections Art Program this year! Please read the December Cheetah Chatter for a list of student artists who advanced to the District Level Competition of the Reflections Art Program. You are invited to an exhibition showcasing these student works on January 10th from 6:30-8pm at the Shoreline Center in the Shoreline Room. We hope to see even more student entries next year!
The Winter Ball (January 31st) is fast approaching, and we need lots of kindergarten parent volunteers to help make the event a success. Please e-mail naomihillyard@gmail.com to express interest or receive more information. We need help organizing, promoting, selling concessions, and making sure things run smoothly. We will meet once before break to divide up tasks. Be a part of team that brings this much-anticipated community event to life!
From the Office: We are having a great December working on cooperation and much more. Congratulations to all Cheetahs for a successful lockdown drill last week; and thanks third graders for the lovely concert on Tuesday night. Thank you for supporting our Library with your participation in the Book Fair. If you missed out, watch for another Book Fair in the Spring. If you have not already, be sure to see our December newsletter posted on the PTA and school websites. We have two big and important weeks of learning this week and next before winter break and we always appreciate all Cheetahs being on time and ready to learn. Thank you for this gift of your children this December. See you soon – David, Derek, and Staff
