Please plan to attend this wonderful event with your family! Students in these classes are expected to attend. This is our grand championship arts “game” so to speak – the only one! Most coaches are great about working with their team and schedule so all kids can be at the concert, so please make schedule arrangements early! We all know that parents can move mountains in order to attend! You won’t want to miss it!

“The Essentials” Spring Drive

The Essentials Drive is now a school wide competition from May 22-30th. The classroom with the most new items of shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, underwear and soap will win water bottles for every member of the class. The goods will be distributed to Shoreline families at the back-to-school consortium in August hosted by The Works. Meridian Park’s goal is to donate 500 items. Please consider donating an item and dropping them in the MP lobby in the box marked “The Works” before May 31st. Collecting for – www.btsconsortium.org.

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS OF 5TH AND 6TH GRADERS and other interested parents of current MP students! Our school, with the support of our PTSA, will be holding its first Internet Safety Event for both our 5th and 6th grade kids and their parents. It will focus on up-to-date issues regarding cyberbullying, social networking, and online posting and relationships. These two separate sessions will be held on JUNE 13, 2017 AT MERIDIAN PARK; the students’ session will be during the day and the parents’ session will be at 7 p.m.either the cafeteria or the gym.

PLEASE pass the word along to other MP parents about this great event and extend the invitation to other Shoreline School District parents. It will greatly improve our communities.
