Students can earn prizes for reading just 500 minutes or collecting $20 in pledges to benefit the Meridian Park PTSA. So pick up a book, keep up with the reading, and reach out to family, friends and employers for their support. Prizes this year include credit to spend at the April Book Fair (April 13-15), t-shirts (contest submissions to be displayed soon!), bookmarks, a pizza party, and other gift certificates. Make sure to turn in all reading logs and pledges by Friday, March 24th to qualify for prizes. Please feel free to contact Elizabeth Swan at email@example.com with any questions or concerns. Read On!
Volunteers Needed: Meridian Park is scheduled to volunteer at “The Works” organizing clothing for the store. We need a minimum of 4 volunteers for Wednesday, March 15th 6:30-8:30pm. This is a great opportunity to see how The Shoreline PTA Council provides this great service to our Shoreline families. If you can volunteer, please email Susan Duthweiler at firstname.lastname@example.org or Mary Kate Horwood at email@example.com. MP is also scheduled to help on Wednesday, May 10th if you can’t make the March date.
