THIS WEEK AT Meridian Park
Nov. 27-Dec. 8 – Holiday Basket Food Drive – The food drive starts the day we get back from Thanksgiving break. So, bring as much non-expired non-glass packaged food as you can to support Shoreline families through this holiday season. Meridian Park has been challenged to 500 cans of canned vegetables but I think our community can do much more. The winning classrooms get a hot chocolate party.

SUPPORT STUDENT READING!
Announcing the One Day Wonder Book Fair!
Where: The Meridian Park Library
When: Tuesday, December 5th 8:40-4:00 and 5:00-7:30
Please join us on December 5th in the Meridian Park Library for our One Day Wonder Book Fair! This is a great opportunity to build your child’s collection of books while supporting our school library as well! We look forward to seeing you there! If you are unable to attend in person, you can shop online at our book fair website:
http://www.scholastic.com/bf/meridianparkelementarysch.
You can also preview some of the featured books on the website. Students will bring home book fair flyers during the week prior to the fair.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A LUNCH ANGEL?
All of Shoreline’s elementary schools have an emergency account that anyone can contribute to. The purpose of the account is to help out students with a negative meal balance, whose family could use support in paying it. For more information, please read the article in the December Cheetah Chatter.
If you would like to contribute to Meridian Park’s emergency fund, there are three ways to do it:
-
- With cash, which should go to office manager Diane Randall, or Family Advocate Annie Gage
- By check, made out to Shoreline Schools or Food and Nutrition Service
- By credit card over the phone to FNS at 206-393-4209
