Hicap Parent Event
Shoreline Public Schools and the Shoreline HiCap Advocacy Group are co-sponsoring a community event on Tuesday, May 16, at the Shoreline Conference Center. Keynote speaker will be Dr. Nancy Hertzog, Director of the UW Robinson Center for Young Scholars. A renowned expert in gifted education, Dr. Hertzog will bring much insight to families and staff about the education of Highly Capable students. Childcare will be provided by the YMCA at no cost, and will be on a “first come, first serve” basis by contacting shoreline.hicap.advocacy@gmail.com. Reminder to Keep Calm and . . . Buy your 2016-2017 Meridian Park Yearbook Today! Forms were sent home, but if you didn’t receive one, please be in touch.

Get Meridian Park’s full-color, student-made yearbook for only $17.00. Remember to return the form with your payment (check payable to “Meridian Park PTSA” or cash) NO LATER THAN April 30th.

Yearbooks will also be sold in the front lobby during the last week of school for $20, but there are only a limited number available. Don’t miss out!

Yearbook Photo Search
The MP Yearbook Staff is looking for photos for our 2017 yearbook. This is your last chance to send in your photos! The Potluck and Family Fun night pictures especially! Send all photos by email to Molly at moogie1221@gmail.com by April 19th.

Cultural Event
Culture Share: BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA
Sat. April 29th, 6:00pm – 8:30pm
Shoreline City Hall
17500 Midvale Ave. North
Free event! Bring a potluck dish to share.

There will be music, dancing, and food for all to enjoy! Come meet your neighbors and learn about different cultures. The Culture Share on Saturday, April 29th will focus on Bosnia & Herzegovina, in partnership with Kud Ljiljan, the youth program of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Washington (ICBW). The City of Shoreline is committed to ensuring a welcoming and safe community for all.
