Saturday, January 21st – Meridian Park Variety Show at 7pm at Shorewood HS. Free PTSA Event. Everyone Welcome. Bring your friends’ children to enjoy a free kids night out of entertainment at the Theatre! Concessions may be sold to benefit 6th grade Camp.

GREEN TEAM PARENTS – Volunteer Request
The first Full week of every month we need 1-2 parents for lunch 11:30-1:15 (M-F). Sign up to participate on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday once a month. PTSA Nominations Committee – Volunteer Request
Job details – Meet with 3 other PTSA volunteers to discuss open positions and make outreach plan. Talk with other parents about these open positions and encourage diverse participation in our PTSA leadership. Present nominations for vote at PTSA meeting April 4 – this would be great if you could attend with the people nominated for each position. Celebrate! Shoreline Math OIympiad
Want to enter a math contest? Shoreline Math Olympiad is open to all Meridian Park students in grades 4-6, whether they are in Math Club or not. Deadline to sign up: February 3, 2017.
Students need to turn in a signed permission slip, and let the MP Math Club Coordinator at mpmathclub@gmail.com know they are interested, by February 3, 2017, in order to participate. Students are encouraged to form their own teams, though being on a team is not a requirement for participating.
Please note that, due to PTSA policies, we cannot have non-Math Club students at Math Club classes or practices, and therefore cannot put non-Math Club students on Math Club teams. But we can point students to practice materials so they can practice independently.
