Seattle, WA – Shorecrest High School Hip Hop Dance Team brings “Physical Poetry” to Shorecrest Performing Arts Center on January 13 & 14, 2017

Exciting, heart-stopping, foot-stomping featuring dance forms and styles from companies all over the Northwest including TAP, TANGO, HIP HOP, MODERN, JAZZ, CHA CHA, TAHITIAN, SPOKEN WORD, STEP, AND MORE. Experience two spectacular evenings on Friday and Saturday, packed with amazing talent from the Greater Seattle Area. This is a family friendly event that will have the audience craving more!

Do you live in Shoreline or Lake Forest Park and have a child who will be 5 years old by August 31? If so, Kinderfest is the place for you!

Kinderfest is an opportunity for parents to learn about the programs offered by the Shoreline School District. Join us and receive information on food services, transportation, nurses, ELL/Special Services, Highly Capable Program and PTA. Each elementary school will have representatives available to answer questions. Spanish, Amharic, Mandarin, Korean and Vietnamese interpreters will be available.

Limited, no-cost childcare will be available on site for children who are two years old and potty-trained. Please note that food will not be allowed in the childcare room due to possible allergies.

Kindergarten registration will begin on Feb. 2nd at your neighborhood school. In order to attend kindergarten in the fall, your child must be five years old by August 31, 2017and reside in the cities of Shoreline or Lake Forest Park.

Meridian Park Earthquake locker clean out/ inventory day is on Saturday, Jan 28th from 9am-noon, and we need two more volunteers to help out with this vital activity to keep our school prepared. Can you help? HS students needing volunteer hours can help as well. Please contact Kris McRea at
