MERIDIAN PARK PTSA PRESENTS
THE FALL HARVEST & CULTURAL FESTIVAL
Thursday, October 27th from 6:00-8:00pm in the MP cafeteria and gym

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
To make this event a success, we need volunteers in several areas:
Culture Tables – Do you or your family come from another country, state, or city? We provide the table and art display board, you provide the knowledge, trinkets, and anything else you may have to share from your heritage with attendees. Tables are hosted by families who want to showcase their culture, country, or heritage. At past events, families have brought traditional clothing, maps, photos, musical instruments, food packaging, have taught a few words in their native language, or had a craft or small activity kids could do. The kids love visiting these tables and it’s a great way for them to learn about other countries and cultures.
Performances – Do you or someone you know perform in a band, dance group, or other cultural performing art? From jazz to Japanese Taiko drumming, bluegrass to belly dancing, we are seeking groups to entertain and expand our horizons on the MP stage.
Set Up – Begins at 3:30 in the gym setting up tables, moving rolling art display boards, carnival games.
Other areas where we need help:
-Face Painting – Carnival game host -Clean Up -6th grade adults to sell pizza
If you can help us, please contact Julie Reinhardt, Fall Fest Coordinator, julie.

All artwork must be new and original and reflect the annual theme: “What Is Your Story?” If you are interested in participating in Reflections, please turn in your original artwork reflecting this theme. Artwork should be turned in to the MP office, by Friday Oct. 28th. Each piece must have an attached entry form. Look for a flyer with information and an entry form coming home soon.
