WALK-A-THON – October 9 from 1:40-3:00pm
Please help support the ASB (Student Council) as they try to raise $8,000 to support field trips for every grade at MP. Students will walk around the far ballpark in back of MP and will collect a rubber bracelet per lap. All monies are welcome (change, checks, dollars). Parents can donate a lump sum or pay by the lap. SKATING PARTY – Thursday, October 8 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Join us for the first skating party of the year at Lynnwood Bowl & Skate, 6210 200th St. SW, Lynnwood. Admission is $6.50 which includes quad skate rental. Pay an additional $3.00 for in line skates. Parents are encouraged to participate. No drop-offs allowed. Feel free to bring your helmet! Hope to see you there!

4th – 6th grade students study the soprano recorder in Ms. Anderson’s General Music Classes. We will use Yamaha three piece (Baroque/English fingering) recorders with a carrying bag. If you wish to purchase a recorder, please send the following to school with your son or daughter by Friday October 2, 2015:

The Reflections theme for 2015/16 is “Let Your Imagination Fly!” If you are interested in participating in Reflections, please turn in your original artwork reflecting this theme. Artwork should be turned in to the office, by Friday Oct. 23rd. Each piece must have an attached entry form. PTSA FALL HARVEST AND CULTURE FEST VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The PTSA Fall Harvest and Culture Fest will be on Thursday, October 29th from 6:00-8:00 pm and we need volunteers to host tables representing your country, state, or heritage of origin.
