A workshop led by Nancy Stewart who shares the knowledge she has gained over decades as a composer and performer of children’s music. She has developed ways for parents, family members, and teachers to harness the power for themselves.
As a result of attending this workshop, you will……
• Develop early literacy skills in children through singing.
• Learn great strategies to effectively build and strengthen literacy skills.
• Discover how singing with a child connects neural pathways, builds memory and a strong sense of rhythm.
• Learn songs that are rich in vocabulary and by nature, build phonological awareness. Learn about, and how to use “Books that Sing”.
