PTSA SURVEY – WE NEED YOUR HELP!

One of the Meridian Park PTSA’s strategic goals for this year is to create a survey to ask for feedback about how we can better serve the Meridian Park community. Results of the survey will be shared at the General Membership meeting on Tuesday, April 1st.

We invite parents, teachers, staff, and community members to complete the short survey located here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GY6DX77. The survey will stay open until January 31st.

The Spanish version of this survey can found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JJNLCZW.

Print versions of both of the surveys are available in the MP office.

If you have any questions, please contact Kim Ositis, PTSA President

LUNCH BUNCH

Annie Gage, MP’s Family Advocate, has begun having LUNCH BUNCH in her office on Fridays. Teachers can select two students from their classroom to join Ms. Annie for lunch. It’s a positive way to help students mix and get acquainted with new people. Your student can let his/her teacher know if he/she would like to participate.

CHEETAH CHAMPS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Cheetah CHAMPS (Children Have Amazing Mentor/Parent Support) is an exciting volunteer program at Meridian Park that is open to dads, moms, stepparents, grandparents or any important adult in your child’s life who can spend a few hours at Meridian Park volunteering in a variety of fun and exciting ways. As a Cheetah Champ, your day would begin with check in at the MP office at 9:00 am with your student, review schedule, pick up a t-shirt, have a picture taken with your child(ren) and then prepare to spend the next several hours making a difference at Meridian Park. A typical Cheetah Champ day includes helping in the classroom, passing out Cheetah Cheers to excited students, supervising and participating at lunch and recess. The students love having their family member at school, teachers appreciate it and staff are grateful for it! You will feel an enormous sense of pride and satisfaction by helping the school community and engaging with your child at school.

Volunteering is easy! Just click on the link below, fill out the form and you will be contacted to confirm a day that works for you. Currently, we are asking for Cheetah Champ volunteers from 9:00 am through your student’s lunch period, however, schedules are flexible. There are lots of Cheetah Champ volunteer opportunities waiting for you!

Feel free to contact Jill Steinberg at jrsteinberg for more information.
