MERIDIAN PARK MORNING OF SERVICE – December 14

The Holiday Baskets, Toys and Teen Gifts distribution day is Saturday, December 14th. The MP PTSA is calling for a Meridian Park Morning of Service and invites our families to come to Kellogg Middle School (16045 25th Ave N.E.) from 9-11am to join a giant carousel of community volunteers going in a circle around the Kellogg cafeteria filling the boxes with the donations. Go to the VolunteerSpot page http://vols.pt/68T3eR and look for the Box Food volunteer job.

In order to meet the goal of moving 25 families through the doors every 15 minutes, the organizers are especially in need of volunteers (adults only) in the afternoon on December 14th from 11am to 5pm (shifts of 1.5 to 2.5 hours) to help families carry out haul out items. Volunteers need to bring a hand truck or cart clearly marked with a name and number. Look for the Food Load Out volunteer task at http://vols.pt/68T3eR.
