PTSA is rolling out this NEW PROGRAM for the 2017-18 school year.
The ideal person for this position is someone who is already planning to volunteer in the classroom weekly. Your job as room parent is to act as a conduit of information back and forth between the PTSA and the students, parents, and teacher. Our goal is to make sure parents are better informed about what is going on at the school and in their classrooms.
The PTSA will provide you a template for making a class directory. You can help the flow of communication and bring any parent questions or concerns to the PTSA. We look forward to providing lots of support to parents in this role!
This is also a great way to get to know the other parents, set up playdates, and organize special events in your class.
